Spanish composer Francisco Carbonell has been awarded in more than twenty international composition competitions and his music has been performed by prestigious choirs such as the Oxford Cathedral Choir, The Australian Voices, the Metropolitan Choir of Tokyo or Youth Choir 'Kamer'.

2019 - Winner of the University of Notre Dame Liturgical Composition Commission Competition.
2017 - Third Prize at the Japan International Choral Composition Competition.
2016 - Third Prize at the 12th International Composers Competition, Musica Sacra Nova, choir category.
2016 - Commissioned by the Oxford's Christ Church Cathedral Choir and the Bristol's Christ Church Cathedral Choir to write the work 'Benedicite'.
2015 - Winner of the University of Bristol Old Hispanic Project Composition Competition for Choir.
2015 - Winner of the 11th International Composers Competition, Musica Sacra Nova, organ category.
2014 - Winner of the Rimini International Choral Composition Competition.
Francisco has been a member of the panel of juries at the 2015 Rimini International Choral Competition, Italy, the 2019 International Competition for Children's Choirs Composition 'CORINFESTA' in Italy, and has been a member of the evaluation team at the 2018 Music for All Festival in Indianapolis, United States.
